President Obama is reportedly planning to announce executive action to enforce stricter gun regulations. He is scheduled to meet with Attorney General Loretty Lynch on Monday to finalize the measures.
Obama wants to expand the background check requirement to small-scale gun sellers as well as narrow weapons availability through the so-called "gun show loophole".
"A few months ago, I directed my team at the White House to look into any new actions I can take to help reduce gun violence. And on Monday, I´ll meet with our Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, to discuss our options," Obama explained this week.
