Air India Technician Dies After Being Stuck in Aircraft Engine

Ravi Subramanium, a technician for Air India, died Wednesday after he was sucked into the engine of a parked plane at MumbaiĀ“s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

About 100 passengers on board the aircraft reportedly witnessed the incident. According to news reports, miscommunication between the co-pilot, who was in training, and Subramanium may have caused the horrifying accident.

An airline official said "the body has been badly mutilated".
