American Airlines Flight Attendant Accused of Attacks on Plane

An American Airlines flight attendant who described herself as "crazy" and a "train wreck" reportedly attacked fellow crew members and U.S. marshals during a flight from Charlotte, N.C. to Frankfurt, Germany, last week.

Joanne Snow was charged with interference with flight crews and attendants as well as assaulting, resisting or impeding an officer or employee of the United States. She appeared in court Tuesday.

U.S. Air Marshal Joseph Fialka said Snow slapped another flight attendant in the face and hit him in the chest with an open palm. Moreover, she disarmed a door as the plane was taxiing. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
