Cyber Attack Knocks PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Offline

"Lizard Squad" claimed to have attacked PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The hacker group disabled the online services on Christmas Day.

"PSN #offline" and "Xbox Live #offline", the hackers tweeted. MegaPrivacy owner Kim Dotcom reportedly stopped Lizard Squad´s attack on the gaming systems by offering them 3,000 vouchers for premium Mega accounts.

"Thanks @KimDotcom for the vouchers--you´re the reason we stopped the attacks. @MegaPrivacy is an awesome service," the hacker group wrote on Twitter.
